Odessa College Continuing Education is currently looking for a Licensed Massage Therapy Instructor. Be a dynamic massage therapist instructor, with the ability to reach students. The position teaches coursework in massage therapy, including lectures and practicals. This position is part-time with up to 19 hours per week. Duration of program is 9 months.
Classes are set for Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 6 pm -10 pm. There is an online component to this course. Clinical Internship on Saturday from 8 am – 5 pm, participation in community events may be required.

Specific Position Duties
- Ability to teach massage therapy coursework – all curriculum – at a variety of dates and times.
- Ability to follow course syllabus for each course, following established institutional guidelines.
- Skill in maintaining professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community.
- Ability and skill in excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide a dynamic environment for learning.
- Skill and knowledge in developing effective strategies to enhance student learning.
- Assist the Health Careers Directors with duties as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Massage Therapist Instructor in Texas
- Minimum of 1 year teaching experience
- Licensed Massage Therapist in Texas
Preferred Qualifications
Three (3) years teaching experience preferred.
